Sean Speaks // February

Sean's back for another round of questions for the Guys Behind the Blog linkup! The questions are all February-related, I know, but it'll still be fun (especially at the very end!). Just bear with us...

Tell us, Sean...

This year is Leap Year — what are you going to do to celebrate?

I think I will take a leap of faith and try my hand at professional gambling. If I lose all of my money it doesn't count, right?

If you could create an obscure holiday, what would it be and why?

I would create a day where all you do is sit around, watch football, eat, and you don't have to talk to anyone. Oh wait, that's kind of like Thanksgiving.

Have you seen the movie Leap Year? If not, tell us about another romantic comedy you have seen.

I am the king of rom-coms. I have never seen Leap Year, but Along Came Polly is one of my all-time favorites. I love the chemistry between Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston. Also, when Philip Seymour Hoffman falls down before the wedding toward the beginning of the movie, Tawni and I usually go back and watch it like ten times.

Tradition has it that women are supposed to propose to their men on Leap Day. Would you (or did you) say yes if your girl popped the question?

I think I would have been a little embarrassed if Tawni had proposed, but it would have also been flattering, like she wanted to marry me so badly that she just couldn't wait for me to ask.

If you had to have a special event take place on Leap Day, what would it be (example: wedding, birthday, birth of your child, etc)?

I think it would have been interesting to have gotten married on Leap Day. It would have been a fun joke and certainly something to talk about at parties.

Alright, thank you for joining us again, Sean!

FOR NEXT TIME: Usually the link up hosts provide the questions for our guys, but this time they've left it up to me! So I need your help! Leave one or two questions for Sean in the comments below, and Sean and I will choose our five favorites for the next Sean Speaks post!  ⤵︎
