Taking It Back

TAKINGITBACK

First off, I have to say another THANK YOU! to all of the guest writers that have contributed their lovely words over the last few months. I've loved featuring these ladies, and am so glad that their words were an encouragement to you, as well as to me! I have been working on a post of my own, though, behind the scenes, and just need to give myself a little more time before I hit Publish. It is the most vulnerable thing I've written to date, and I have been praying over the post for a long time. My prayer is that when I release my words to the "world" (online), someone will be encouraged, strengthened, relieved, and will finally realize they're not alone.

God has been speaking to me over these months and He's made it clear that this blog is no longer mine -- it is His. This is a tool, or a platform He's given me, and through my experiences and words, my prayer is that there will be a release among my readers.

By the grace of God, I am made new every day. When I became a Christian, perfection was not a part of my transformation. I try not to, but I break every day, and am forgiven just the same. I want my readers to come here expecting nothing but the truth from me. I am going to be as vulnerable and honest as God wills me to be. No more editing based on what I think you want to read. This isn't about what we want to hear. This is about what needs to be said.  I want my readers to leave here knowing they're not alone. We all fall short. We've all made mistakes, and we've all been sinned against. It's time for us to let go. I want this to be a space for us to back each other up, and to let go together.

So all of this being said, please be patient and bear with me as I gather the courage to finally share some words with you that God's placed heavily on my heart. In the meantime, be blessed.
