Love People This Way | Guest Post

Beauty cannot be consumed. What actually sustains us, what is fundamentally beautiful, is compassion for yourself and those around you. That kind of beauty inflames the heart and enchants the soul beyond any measure that we can physically hold in our hand or capture in a mirror. sq_beautycannot

Every heart is desperately seeking worth and purpose. Unfortunately, the world is also seeking every heart, only with labels and confinement. Those hearts, now lost to the world, are more desperate than ever for a taste of real salvation. Seek those hearts. Seek those lives. Wrap them up in the same redemption you have been given. Rip open their hearts and break the chains of the world. Set them free. Drown them in grace. Flood their eyes with tears, for now they have seen the truth! They are free, they are free, they are free! Eternity now flows in their veins, their heart no longer confined, their worth no longer labeled. The world has lost. Eternity has won.

We're all human, and far too often we forget that about each other. Feelings of worth can flourish only in an atmosphere where individual differences are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated, communication is open, and rules are flexible. We need community. Community chock-full of uniqueness and potential. Free to be. Free to express. Free to love with whatever our hearts can bring.

These are the threads. The moments of freedom. The moments of weakness. The moments of understanding. The moments where our unique and beautiful hearts come together to dance a beautiful dance of honest love.

Love people this way. Not with control or judgment, but with freedom and understanding. Allow them to dance their own dance, and ask to join in.
